Oath expiation (kaffarah) becomes due when a deliberate oath has been broken, and consists of feeding or clothing ten people in need. Fidyah is the substitute payment for fasting days that cannot be made up for lasting health reasons.

A tree donation works over the long term: trees hold the soil, give shade and in many regions bear fruit as an additional source of food for the local population.
Clothing and Kirve donations
Clothing donations provide families and orphans with the essentials, particularly before the festival days. A Kirve donation covers the cost of a circumcision celebration for families who cannot meet it themselves.
