ILA stands for International Liability Association. We take responsibility for the world seriously.
We at the ILA association believe that the world can change when people take on responsibility and can be relied upon. We are also convinced that small steps bring about great change.
And so, on 20 December 2018, we founded our association in Mainz. Our aim is to work everywhere in the world for education and for living conditions worthy of human dignity for all people, wherever they may live. Our fight is above all against hunger, thirst and disease. Beyond that, we are committed to social and cultural development and to strengthening a fraternal coexistence among people all over the world.
Our projects are directed at all people in the world, without distinction of language, religion, skin colour, race, denomination, world view, class, gender, region or country.
Within the principles laid down in our statutes, we work to strengthen people's awareness of social responsibility, cooperation and solidarity, and to raise the socio-economic level of the societies in which we are active.
Our association is involved in responding to humanitarian crises and disasters such as hunger, thirst, drought, earthquakes, fire and flooding. We are wherever people need help.
Our work began with the voluntary commitment of a small number of people. It was not until 20 December 2018 that we founded the association. With your support we would like to continue and expand this work of ours.
